“Glorious chapter of Christian-Muslim dialogue opens in Pakistan as Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Grand Imam of Badshahi Mosque in Lahore welcomed His Grace, Archbishop Germano Penemote , Ambassador of Pope Francis / Holy See to Pakistan, Archbishop Sebastian Shaw, Archbishop of Lahore, Archbishop Bishop Joseph Arshad, Archbishop of Islamabad/ Rawalpindi, Bishop Indrias Rehmat, Bishop of Faisalabad, Bishop Yousaf Sohan, Bishop of Multan, Fr Pascal Paulus OP, Prior Vice Provincial, Dominican Order Pakistan and Fr James Channan OP, Director, Peace Center, Lahore had Christian-Muslim dialogue in the Badshahi Mosque. Guided tour of the mosque was also given. It was a very historic day as top Christian leadership gathered for Interreligious Dialogue in the mosque.
