AMMWEC took part in the USCIR event commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 (IRFA). IRFA prioritizes religious freedom in U.S. foreign policy, enhancing the nation’s advocacy for individuals persecuted in foreign countries due to their religion or belief. Attendees at the event included Anila Ali and Dr. Seemab Asif, who had the opportunity to meet with Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA).
