Huma Adnan was recently invited by the Turkish embassy to showcase her collection at the residence of the Ambassador of Türkiye which is also a UNESCO heritage site in Washington DC.
It was attended by esteemed guests and dignitaries, including wives of the ambassadors of Indonesia, Spain, China, and many other countries. American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council led the charge in creating a platform for refugee women to showcase their talents and impart skills that would help them become economically independent.
The First Ladies from different countries appreciated the culturally rich craft on display, placing orders to keep pieces of Pakistani art with them. Inci Mercan, the First Lady of Turkey, opened the show for Huma in a breathtaking hand-crafted jacket.
The event showcased Huma’s latest collection, which combines traditional elements with modern trends to create timeless pieces that are both elegant and stylish. The international models were the picture of grace while walking down the runway in the vibrant creations, mesmerizing onlookers.
