Our board member, Rana Syed, donated grocery items to the Families Forward in Orange County, California. She met with the wonderful staff of Families Forward to donate food on behalf of AMMWEC & our generous donors. We are honored to help our brothers and sister in need during the holy month of Ramadan.

Our dedicated board member Zeba Zebunnesa represented AMMWEC and volunteered at the Islah Islamic Center. AMMWEC is proud to have donated Iftar boxes to the Islah Mosque that provides assistance to the low-income, African-American community in the heart of Los Angeles. Thanks to donations made, we were able to serve iftar to our black brothers & sisters as well as many non-Muslims who go to the center for food.

AMMWEC is honored to have partnered with the New England Bangladeshi American Foundation (NEBAF), a Bangladeshi organization run by women based in Cambridge, MA. NEBAF is a grass-roots organization that we are proud to partner with to continue empowering women and Muslims in Greater Boston. AMMWEC and NEBAF raised money and distributed Iftar boxes to Muslim and non-Muslim families in need.
