Chair and AMMWEC President Anila Ali delivered a keynote address at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago, USA. “For women, the fiery duality of religion is even more intense. It can serve as an unparalleled source of empowerment and growth, or it can be a deadly force of subjugation and repression” Anila Ali was featured in an interview on NPR and also appeared on KVR Radio discussing the theme “Parliament of the World’s Religions hopes to showcase the positive impact of faith.”
A virtual global Jewish-Muslim solidarity rally was organized by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) in collaboration with AMMWEC. Anila Ali took the stage at the Jewish-Muslim Solidarity Rally, advocating for harmony and understanding between communities. Together, we stand stronger, celebrating diversity and constructing bridges of peace.
In collaboration with Women Empowerment Media, AMMWEC organized The Marrakesh Forum. This multi-faith collaboration event equipped leaders with a toolkit of resources to advance pluralism, with a special emphasis on the inclusion of women. The forum saw the participation of 95 executive leaders from 14 countries, and its significance continues to be highlighted in ongoing media coverage.
